Endometrial receptivity
and luteal phase
optimization in ART

Embryo quality and receptive endometrium are essential for a successful pregnancy. Different factors that affect endometrial receptivity include hormonal, genetic, immunological, and cytoskeletal change. The effect of progestrone on the endometrium is also essential for implantation. This hormone causes down-regulation of estrogen receptors and the onest of decidualization in the endometrium, which leads to completion of proliferation of luminal epithelium and its differentiation toward the secretory phase. Changes in the ratio of estrogen to progesterone, the concentration of growth factors, and the profile of adhesion molecules induced by Controlled Ovarian Hyper-stimulation protocols (COH protocols) can also have different effects on endometrial receptivity.

This event aims to highlight the importance of uterine receptivity in ART outcomes and Progesterone’s role in uterine receptivity and update on interventions and strategies for improving the endometrial receptivity in ART cycles.
