With the lockdown being lifted, the enfectors are gradually returning to once and we are looking forward to a semblance of normality with the situation improving. However, we always prioritise on adhering to all health regulations so that we all stay safe and healthy. The enfectors have been engaged in some very interesting projects during the month of October and we are proud to share that for the first time in Sri Lanka and South-East Asia, we were shortlisted at the international Drum Awards and our efforts were highly commended!

The Competition is Heating Up! ACCA Finhack Now in the Maldives

ACCA Finhack was first introduced to Sri Lanka with the objective of sharing knowledge, developing soft skills as well as nurturing interest in university students to become finance professionals. Enfection developed the Finhack platform that facilitates the participation of university students as a team to solve real life challenges in the finance industry spanning various sectors. This year, three teams from two universities in the Maldives participated in the competition. They were given a case study on either the world economy or the business sector, and also questions from the ACCA syllabus to answer. The event was a great success.

During the campaign period we were able to generate a large number of conversions which was significant for a very niche market.

Keells: Employee Appreciation During the Lockdown

Keells together with Enfection developed a video series with the objective of expressing appreciation and gratitude to keells employees who have been rendering their services during the lockdown.

To do this we had two approaches:
1.
A celebrity or a key opinion leader in the industry to pay a visit to an outlet and be in the employee’s shoes for one day: Popular singer Nalin Perera visited the Battaramulla outlet and spoke to the employees, sharing sentiments and their stories of how they have been working throughout the pandemic feeding a nation in need.

A day in the life of a Keells employee: We featured a male and female employee who shared their experiences of working during a lockdown and their daily routine whilst also providing insights into their personal lives.
